  Wenn man an ein Leben im All denkt, könnte man meinen, dass es jeden Tag aufregend und faszinierend ist. Dies war es auch für Samantha Davies, auch wenn es jeden Tag neue Herausforderungen gab. Die mittlerweile 18-Jährige hatte dabei eine starke Schulter in Form von Marcus Kane an die sie sich wenden konnte. Nachdem sie ihre Mutter verlor nahm er sich ihrer an und adoptierte sie schließlich, wobei sie jedoch ihren Nachnamen beibehielt. Sam gehört zu den hundert Jugendlichen, die auf die Erde geschickt wurden, da sie vor einigen Monaten in der Skybox landete. Dabei hatte sie die Medikamente für eine Freundin eingesteckt, deren Mutter angeblich krank gewesen war - zu dumm, dass man sie reinlegte. Ihr Vertrauen ist daher natürlich gut angeknickt, aber schränkt sie dies im Kampf ums Überleben ein? Ganz im Gegenteil.
